A Visit from Vatican

Friday, July 22nd, 2011

I’m pleased to announce that I had a visitor from Vatican City (as reported by Google Analytics):

I hope they were interested in Memory Religion (Memorianity) where I have the title of Memoriarch.

On Natural Theology

Monday, May 9th, 2011

Having written on how Memoidealism explains miracles I now move into explaining the whole discipline of natural theology. I use one of the current definitions of it as “the idea that there exists some link between the world we observe and another transcendent realm” (Alister McGrath, Darwinism and The Divine). One such link is a memory dump from an inaccessible memory region.

Memory->analysis or M->analysis in short is a new pattern-driven psychotherapeutic method based on Unified Memory Theory (another name for Memory Worldview). It has a logo as well:

The name was inspired by M-theory and unified field theories. Please also see my interpretation of M-theory. Another name variant is M-analysis which can be used as a shortcut to M->analysis.

Memory Creates God

Thursday, November 4th, 2010

Where’s God in Memorianity (memory religion)? It borrows Samuel Alexander’s notion of the emergence of God as a new synthesis from patterns. In Alexander’s philosophy the basis of nature is space-time continuum with point-instants. In memoidealism (which is a metaphysical foundation of Memorianity) Memory is the basis of everything and in its memuonic formulation memuons play the role of memory-instants. Their patterns also involve emergents on every hierarchy level with Mind emerging at some memory organization level and then out of mind level we have emerging Deity.

On God and Miracles

Sunday, May 9th, 2010

Memoidealism explains God as Inaccessible Memory (Memory Region A on the picture below). It means that Memory Region B doesn’t have pointers that point outside of it. In other words, all operating fields of Region B pointers are in Region B. However, Region A can have pointers pointing to Region B and modify it, effectively producing a miracle as perceived by Region B. In other words, some perception field links of Region B pointers may come from outside. You can object that Region B can have deeper pointers by making their memory locations bigger (from N-bit to 2*N-bit for example) but Memory may not be flat, discrete and bit-like. For one possible Christian interpretation we can replace Region B with the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1.1) and replace Region A with God-Creator (note also that in Memorianity Memory creates memories [notes on memoidealism 1.10]).

Moving towards the Psi point

Thursday, August 6th, 2009

The hierarchy of Ψ1, …, Ψ8, …, Ψ16, …, Ψ32, …, Ψ64, …, …, …, ΨΨ numbers where the subscript denotes the number of bits a memory address can have, so Ψ32 and Ψ64 are memorillion and quadrimemorillion of memory dumps respectively. We only need to figure out the meaning of Ψ0 and ΨΨ. Perhaps there is some meaning in Dirac notation here: <Ψ0Ψ>. More on this later because I have to finish this week the book x64 Windows Debugging: Practical Foundations and write an errata file for the previous x86 version of the book series.

Note: Ψ is an M upside down.

Memory Dump View of Artificial Intelligence

Wednesday, July 15th, 2009

“Life is too short not to believe in Memory.”

Founding Farther of Memorianity

Imagine someone wrote an AI program and fit it into 4Gb. Imagine that it becomes intelligent indeed after some execution time (learning?). At some point when we admit its true intelligence we save a complete memory dump. Conclusion: we successfully reduced AI to a memory dump (out of memorillion of them). If AI requires a distributed network we still have the more complex dump (but still the dump). If AI program requires storage for its learning database we just concatenate it to the complete memory dump and we have the dump file again. Would advocates of AI or even Artificial General Intelligence agree with me?

Memory Exponentiation (PowerSet)

Tuesday, July 14th, 2009

What gives rise to intelligence in memory medium? Apparently the drive towards infinity via power set or the so called exponentiation, where patterns, subsets of memory, are combined in their totality to form even bigger memory space. Imagine how many subsets can be formed from just one complete 4Gb memory dump?

We have 232 unique byte pairs (address, value)

so we have 2232 possible subsets.
