Dmitry Vostokov Short Biography

Dmitry Vostokov is an internationally recognized expert, speaker, educator, scientist and author in debugging, crash dump and software log analysis. He is a founder of software diagnostics discipline and Software Diagnostics Institute, which has an audience of more than 45,000 organizations and 330,000 individuals worldwide. Vostokov has also authored several books on pattern-driven software diagnostics and problem solving, debugging, memory dump and software trace analysis. He has more than 20 years of experience in software architecture, design, development and maintenance in variety of industries including various leadership, technical and people management roles. Dmitry also founded OpenTask Iterative and Incremental Publishing and Software Diagnostics Services (former Memory Dump Analysis Services). In his spare time he presents various topics on Debugging TV and explores Software Narratology, an applied science of software stories that he pioneered.
