The packing of address space is a good idea! Looking forward to seeing the new release.

I was in USA 3 times, twice in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and in Redmond. You sent me a YouTube video related to a memory visualization a few days ago. Do you want me to post the link to it here?

Hi Dmitry,

I am about to release the third and hopefully close to final beta of Haywire. It has a number of issues resolved - in particular you can now go "bottom up" or "top down" by clicking a control. Even more important is a switch that "packs" the address space together, eliminating large areas of nothingness.

I found a codec from an MSU grad designed for screen dump compression that works just peachy for compressing memory dump recordings. I use Virtual Dub and can make a loss-less recording at 10-30 fps with around a 20:1 or better compression ratio.

Do you get over to the USA ever? One of my joys is attending a conference called Hackers, (the positive sense of the term - its not a security conference like DefCon or BlackHat, rather its for inventors and visionarys - its in early November this year). You would qualify both on merit and general zanieness.

I will post a note when the next release is up. When thats ready, I have something of great historical importance to describe.
