Follow-up Story

Hi, there.

I got an email from the WinDbg team about this matter.
They will release a corrected version late this week.
I am sure the new release will support MP and UP.

The team responded very sincerely to my report.

Hope this helps!

Tom,

I really appreciate your response!

Mine is this:
Windows XP Kernel Version 2600 (Service Pack 3) UP Free x86 compatible
Product: WinNt, suite: TerminalServer SingleUserTS
Built by: 2600.xpsp_sp3_gdr.080814-1236

Oh dear, now I understand how they did. It's MP.

Thank you very much, Tom. Nice info.

LKD works fine for me on:

"Windows XP Kernel Version 2600 (Service Pack 2) MP (2 procs) Free x86 compatible"

and

"Windows XP Kernel Version 2600 (Service Pack 3) MP (2 procs) Free x86 compatible"

I changed WinDbg versions from 9 to 10.
Very sadly, version 10 seems to disable LKD mode!
I could not invoke it.

Do you have the same stroy here?

My machine is :
Windows XP SP3
