What’s the relation? During my eye test today an optometrist complained that he has to re-enter data because his program crashed. Later on I looked at the screen and saw familiar Borland style GUI. I resisted temptation to offer on the spot crash dump analysis assistance. Now I regret that - perhaps he might have offered better discount for me :-)

You might consider looking at my questionable experiences with Borland and windbg before going back to your Optometric ;-)

But will he or she be willing to give you discount if you tell him her her that the crash occured because of a page fault or something?

As I’ve been an Optometric in my former life - I assume not :-)

When he said “It crashed” I did my best not to smile at him… :-) Perhaps my facial expression conveyed the expression of understanding…
